Nelson Mandela turning point and acheivements

-          become chief of his local tribe after dead s died .

-          became increasingly aware of the unjust nature of South African Society.  

-          became involved in politics.

-          Mandela was able to finish his degree and qualified as a Lawyer  .


-          Mandela to advocate armed struggle through the Umkhonto we Sizwe  .

-          reveals how he sought to make the best use of his time there .

-         had to resign from the ANC and work underground


-          looked to negotiation, in the face of international isolation.

-          led Mandela to advocate armed struggle through the Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK).


-          life imprisonment in the notorious Robben Island prison. 

-         in spite of hard negotiation , release in 1990 .


-          presided over the transition from minority rule and apartheid.  

-        continued to be an international figure of great stature .

1930    -went to Darwin by canoe 



1941     -became an orderly in a Royal Australian Air Force medical aid-post.



1942     - among a group of Aborigines who were moved to Mataranka




1948     -Tudawali married Peggy, a Wadyigini (Wogait) woman




1956     - was destitute and suffering from tuberculosis



1963     - banished him to Melville Island for nine months



1967    - was involved in a drinking session at Bagot



1967     -died of severe burns and tuberculosis on 26 July

-Heif el islam and 8 other defendants to death fro commiting crimes

- He wasn t physically present in court because he was arrested by militia which oppose to the regime

-International criminal court didn t give it s suggestion on Gaddafi son trial

-Seif el islam was present by video link

-In february of 2011 the UN security council refered the war in Libya to the ICC (international criminal court)

-Seif  el islam is wanted for crimes against humanity
